Hello, and thank you for your interest in commissioning us!
These rules are for hiring Ependa and Dogblud as a collaborative team. They are extensive but not complete. If you're interested in hiring one of the site's affiliates, you'll have to contact them via their own sites.
Many apologies to our ADHD clients for having to comb through all this text. I promise that reading it is as much for your benefit as ours.
If you've finished reading this page (it's a slog, I know, humor us) and have decided that you still want a commission, please send a request to dogblud at proton dot me stating that you have read and agreed to our terms. If you are unclear about any of these terms, you're welcome to ask questions, even if you think the question seems silly.
Some recently posted commissions (NOTE that anything labeled 18+ contains obvious nudity):
This page and its contents are current as of 8/19/2025.
HOW THIS WORKS
So, the best way to describe how this works is 'like a tattoo parlor.' You schedule an appointment for your work to get done, and on the day of, once payment is received, work begins.
When payment is received, Ependa will begin working on your sketch. This can take anywhere from one to three hours depending on complexity/number of characters. When she's finished, she sends the sketch for approval, at which point it's kicked over to me.
At this point, the client has a few options:
- They can trust we'll hold ourselves accountable for the time, no additional action necessary.
- They can request a timelapse to account for time spent on finals (timelapses tend to record 1 minute per 1 hour spent working, give or take a few seconds).
- They can request that the finals be streamed. This costs an additional $10-$15 per hour depending on the content and complexity of the piece.
- NOTE: Streams are done without audio or mic and interaction
is limited! Only streams advertised on my socials will be-- well. Social.
At the three hour mark, work ends, and we'll discuss how to proceed. I'll generally have a good idea of how long it'll take me to get a piece completed. To whichever level of completion the client requests. As noted below, you can request lineart and do your own coloring, if so desired (with some caveats).
If more work needs to be done, that also works like a tattoo parlor: just schedule another appointment when you've got the funds to pick up the remaining tab.
As for what you can expect to receive for the base three hours of work?
Ependa and I put together a few samples to show what that can look like:
Please be sure to let me know if there's a specific style of inks that you're looking for. No line weight lends itself to more elaborate color if that's something you're interested in pursuing with us in the future, whereas line weight locks in a specific style; sketchy inks can be upgraded later to clean, etc etc.
Point is, we're flexible and willing to work with you to manage whatever time or financial constraints you're dealing with.

BASIC RULES
- We primarily take commissions that are in our general wheelhouse, and we will be more favorable to requests that play to our strengths and interests. Most of these are pretty evident in our media tab, but for anyone who (understandably) finds that too ambiguous, you are more than welcome to ask.
- All commissions are digital.
- Ownership of each piece is retained by the artist(s), and all commissions
are for personal use unless otherwise stated (the one major exception being
the training of AI, see below).
If you wish to publish the piece in a book or PDF, that is a separate conversation that involves licensing fees. - Clients are allowed to request lineart commissions and add the color on
their own as desired. They'll be provided with a file that contains the
appropriately placed watermarks for posting. These watermarks are not to
be removed or altered when sharing the piece.
Unless otherwise negotiated, this option is available for personal use only. - Though we allow lineart to be colored, the lineart itself is not to be altered beyond tweaks in color and tone.
- We do not accept work from projects involved in AI or NFTs. No exceptions.
- None of the work provided to clients is to be used for the training of AI, nor do we give consent for any of it to be finalized by AI. Anyone caught doing either will be permanently blacklisted.
- We do not do culturally appropriative work. Meaning: we don't do commissions of 'vaguely Native American looking werewolves' or 'vaguely Zulu-looking hyenas' or what have you. If you want us to use iconography/dress/etc from a specific culture, accurate reference AND research material/sources are required.
RATES
There are currently no budget options available unfortunately, but we will make a note of it here when that changes. For now:
- We work hourly at a rate of $50/hr. Clients are allowed to request one hour sessions.
- Our rates are dictated by the complexity of the piece and its characters, as well as our familiarity with the subject matter. Ergo, if you're asking for a challenging piece with a highly detailed character, our rates can raise as high as $75/hour.
- Character design commissions - as in, commissions for characters that don't already have existing references - are only available as sketch commissions done by a single artist, and start at $100/hour.
- Work begins on the same day that payment is taken, and ends when the hours that have been paid for have elapsed. The maximum length of a paid session is three hours total per artist.
- Additional hours can be scheduled at any time. I tend to work on them
on Thursdays and Fridays primarily.

REFERENCE MATERIAL
Doing the extra legwork as clients to find a specific pose you want from a pose site, or finding the *exact* kind of clothing or accessory you'd like a character to wear, not only makes our job easier, it ensures that more of the time you're paying for is spent on drawing, and not as much on prep/ research.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of references that will be super helpful:
- Poses, which can be found via sites like TrueRef and Adorkastock, among others. You are also welcome to send us 3D model poses as well.
- "Faceclaims," aka a celebrity or model or rando that your character looks like. This helps for human AND anthro/werebeast characters.
- If the character has a specific pelt type, coloration, pattern, etc, photos references/character sheets OR character design commission prices are required. Note that complicated pelts are subject to rate changes.
- The same is 100% true for clothing. Accessories and clothing need references, especially if those details are important enough to require revisions. Design fees may apply if attire/accessories stray too far outside the bounds of a single reference.
- Stick figure drawings and shitty MS Paint dioramas count as references if you have a specific idea in mind that you'd like to see executed. We promise we will not poke fun; these kinds of thumbnails are extremely helpful.
- Obviously, for Guild Wars 2 themed commissions, we'll take game screenshots. But in general, if you have your character faithfully created in a game of some kind, that works just fine for ref material. This includes Sims.
- AI slop is NOT reference material. Please try to use a uBlocklist on search engines if you're using any kind of image search. It also helps to add "before:2022" to your search queries.

STRENGTHS & INTERESTS
As much as folks might want to see us draw (xyz) thing or species because they'd like to see how it looks in our joint or personal styles, understand that if these requests pose a challenge, they'll demand a higher investment. That, and even if you're willing to accept higher rates, neither of us are guaranteed to have the energy or interest to devote to such a project.
If you want your request to have a higher chance of being accepted, working with our strengths is best. These include but are not limited to:
- Bipedal werewolves and werebeasts; more feral types, YMMV. They're alright sometimes but anything too wolf-like starts falling more into the 'wildlife' category, which is a separate thing.
- Sapphics of all presentations. We're very open to varying ages and body types.
- Women and femmes are heavily prioritized.
- Dogblud likes drawing twinks. Ependa likes drawing bears. Do with that what you will.
- Queer characters generally are heavily prioritized.
- TTRPG characters are encouraged, esp. if you already have existing refs.
- Fanart! We'll take fanart commissions but it helps if it's from stuff we
like/are at least familiar with.
'Please werewolf this character for me' is a particular favorite, so far as requests go. As is fanart of the actual werewolves from werewolf films. - As noted, we DO IN FACT take Guild Wars 2 commissions, epecially if they're for charr and norn, though all races are welcome. NOTE that armor/accessories will have to be simplified for commissions, but we'll do our best to get the broad stroke details.

ADULT COMMISSIONS
- Base hourly rate is $65/hour regardless of type. Rates for publication, yadda yadda, etc etc.
- We don't yet offer lewd character designs.
- The only M/F type pairings we'll do are T4T.
- M/M requests are somewhat discouraged, in part because one half of
the team isn't that into doing it outside of gift art (Dogblud), and in
part because there are plenty of other options out there for M/M werewolf
art, done by people who really love doing it. Like site affiliate iezeradd,
when he's open for that kind of work.
There are exceptions to every rule though so if you think we'd be a really good match for the image you have in mind, you're welcome to ask. - Disallowed kinks and/or image types: rough or painful penetration, age/ABDL
play, any bathroom play (vomit included), hyper*, vore, non-con/rape (all
variants, hypnosis/drugplay included), snuff/guro, inflation, feeding,
feral/zoo. I'm sure there are some I'm missing.
*will make exceptions for exaggerated t-dick, provided size stays comparable to standard human dick size.
